Freight Insurance
As part of our freight service Kulkyne Kampers offers freight insurance to ensure that the customer is protected if their goods get lost or damaged in transit. Freight insurance is optional so customers will need to select this option during the shopping cart process if they require it. We will ship your goods to you under one of the following terms depending upon which insurance option you select.
DDP: If you select the Freight Insurance option your goods will be freighted to you "DDP" which means we will assume all responsibility for delivering the goods to you. Any damage or loss of goods will be covered by Kulkyne Kampers at no risk to you. Once you have signed the "Proof of Delivery" when the goods are delivered to you, any damage to the product then becomes your responsibility. Please ensure your goods are fully delivered in good condition before you sign the "Proof of Delivery."
CFR: If you do not select the Freight Insurance option your goods will be freighted to you "CFR" which means you assume all responsibly for loss or damage of the goods from us to you. No liability will be accepted by Kulkyne Kampers under any circumstances if you do not select the Freight Insurance option.

The Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress
Our Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress uses 20 mm of foam beneath your shoulders and back and 40 mm beneath your hips, supported by a 40 mm air layer.
This combination creates an extremely comfortable sleeping surface while keeping the mattress compact enough for motorcycle touring.
Another major advantage of the Hybrid Air/Foam design is that you can adjust the air pressure to suit your preferred level of firmness. Whether you prefer a softer or firmer mattress, you can fine-tune it to find your own comfort zone.
The mattress also incorporates approximately 110 mm of air beneath the head area. For some sleepers, this may provide enough elevation to use without a separate pillow. Others can place folded clothing or a small towel beneath their head for additional height.
A compact all-in-one touring system
The Premium Biker Swag is designed to carry your shelter, mattress and light bedding together in one compact touring roll.
You can leave up to approximately 1.2 kg of compact bedding inside the swag when rolling it up. This allows you to carry a lightweight sleeping bag or blanket without packing your sleeping system separately.
With approximately 1.1 kg of bedding inside, the swag rolls to around 60 cm long × 30 cm in diameter.
This means that when you reach camp, your shelter, mattress and bedding are all together and ready to set up.
The Kulkyne Biker Swag
The swag is manufactured from high-quality 230 gsm canvas, selected to provide a practical balance between durability and touring weight.
It has a 280 gsm tub-style PVC floor with hot-sealed corners to help prevent water from entering around the base.
The swag has a generous sleeping footprint of 215 cm long × 95 cm wide, providing genuine room to move while you sleep.
Because the ends slope inward, we recommend the swag for sleepers up to approximately 200 cm tall.
Quick and simple set-up
The Premium Biker Swag has been designed for a fast and uncomplicated set-up.
- Remove the swag from the carry bag.
- Unroll it.
- Connect and fit the end hoops.
- Extend the central pole between the hoops.
The central pole holds the ends of the swag apart, so ropes and pegs are generally not required to keep the structure upright.
The swag can still be pegged down when weather or ground conditions require it.
The Biker Carry Bags
The Premium Biker Swag is supplied with two carry bags.
Main cylindrical carry bag
The main cylindrical bag is designed to carry the complete swag, including its poles and up to approximately 1.2 kg of compact sleeping gear.
It has four D-rings around the base so the bag can be secured to your motorcycle.
Four additional strap points on top allow you to attach the supplied bonus gear bag or other suitable lightweight equipment.
The main carry bag is manufactured from heavy-duty PVC and fitted with a waterproof-rated YKK zip.
Bonus rectangular gear bag
A smaller rectangular gear bag is also included.
This bag is supplied for your general touring equipment and is not required to carry any part of the swag itself.
It can be attached to the top of the main cylindrical carry bag using the four strap points provided.
The empty bonus gear bag weighs approximately 230 grams.
Use the swag door as a gear fly
The main canvas side entrance includes eyelets that allow the door flap to be extended and secured to your motorcycle.
This creates a small covered area that can help protect riding gear, boots or luggage from the weather.
The flap is not a fully enclosed storage compartment, but it provides a useful sheltered area without requiring a separate awning.
Premium Biker Swag: Questions and Answers
Should I be worried about punctures?
If you clear the ground of sharp objects before setting up the swag, punctures should be unlikely.
The Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress requires very little air pressure when in use, so it does not behave like a tightly inflated balloon.
The inflatable air bladder is available as a replacement part, which means a damaged bladder can be replaced without throwing away the entire Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress.
Minor punctures can also be repaired using a suitable basic puncture repair kit.
Do I need a pump for the Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress?
Yes. You will need an air-mattress pump to inflate the Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress.
A motorcycle tyre inflator is generally unsuitable because tyre pumps are designed to produce high pressure at a relatively low volume.
The Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress requires high-volume, low-pressure airflow.
Suitable lightweight pumps are readily available from camping and outdoor retailers.
The mattress can also be inflated by mouth when necessary, although a suitable pump will make set-up faster and easier.
Which pump is best for the Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress?
Because packed size and weight are important to motorcycle travellers, we recommend a basic 12 V high-volume, low-pressure air-mattress pump that can be connected to your motorcycle’s starting battery.
These pumps generally weigh around 250 grams.
The pump fitting will need to suit the mattress’s 18 mm valve.
Do not use a high-pressure motorcycle tyre inflator, as it is not designed for this type of mattress.
Is the Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress cold to sleep on?
The padded mattress cover and the foam between your body and the air bladder help reduce the transfer of cold.
The mattress is particularly comfortable in warmer weather because it does not retain excessive heat.
For use in very cold conditions, you may wish to place a reflective foil survival blanket inside the padded mattress cover to provide an additional reflective insulation layer.
As with any camping sleep system, your sleeping bag and clothing should be selected to suit the expected overnight temperature.
What about a pillow?
The Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress incorporates approximately 110 mm of air beneath the head area.
For some sleepers, this may provide enough elevation to sleep without a separate pillow.
Others may prefer to place folded clothing, a towel or a compact camping pillow beneath their head for additional height.
Using clothing or a towel can provide extra support without taking up valuable luggage space.
Are the carry bags waterproof?
The carry bags are manufactured from high-quality PVC and fitted with waterproof-rated YKK zips.
For the greatest weather protection, secure the bags correctly and ensure the zips are fully closed before travelling.

The swag and main cylindrical carry bag weigh approximately 7.9 kg.
Adding approximately 1.1 kg of bedding brings the total touring weight to around 9 kg.
The bonus rectangular gear bag weighs approximately 230 grams when empty, plus the weight of anything placed inside it.
How large is the Premium Biker Swag when set up?
The set-up footprint is approximately 215 cm long × 95 cm wide.
Because the ends slope inward, we recommend the swag for sleepers up to approximately 200 cm tall.
Shorter sleepers will also have room at the foot of the swag for some clothing or other suitable gear.

The 1.2 kg figure is primarily a guide to packed bulk rather than a strict structural weight limit. Two sleeping bags of the same weight can have very different packed sizes.
Always check the packed dimensions of your sleeping bag and make sure the swag can be rolled and secured without excessive force.
Do you sell sleeping bags for the Premium Biker Swag?
No. The most suitable sleeping bag will depend on the conditions in which you intend to use the swag.
A basic lightweight sleeping bag may be suitable for summer touring, while cold-weather riding will generally require a higher-quality insulated sleeping bag that still packs down compactly.
The suggested 1.2 kg limit is primarily a guide to packed size rather than weight. Some sleeping bags of the same weight are considerably bulkier than others, so check the packed dimensions before purchasing.
Because riders have different warmth, budget and seasonal requirements, we have chosen not to supply a one-size-fits-all sleeping bag. Instead, the Premium Biker Swag allows you to select the sleeping system that best suits your own riding and camping conditions.
