With our market-leading Hybrid Air/Foam Mattress, you’ll enjoy a restful night’s sleep while keeping your bedding lightweight and packable. Unlike traditional self-inflating mats, our unique design eliminates unnecessary foam, using body-contouring air support instead. Where foam is critical for warmth and comfort—such as beneath the shoulders and hips—premium foam zones are strategically integrated.

In fact, compared to the 100mm deluxe pillow-top mattress used in our swags, the Hybrid Air/Foam mattress is at least twice as comfortable. Our product designer, after months of field testing, didn’t want to return to a regular mattress—yes, it’s that good.

Why Is the Hybrid Mattress More Comfortable?

Our design-registered lateral pole air system follows the natural curves of the body, offering optimal spinal alignment and pressure relief—without the need for bulky foam.

The mattress features:

• Adjustable air pressure – customise firmness from soft to firm to suit your sleeping preference.

• 20mm high-density foam layer – runs from the shoulders to the buttocks, delivering the feel of a proper bed.

• Extra 20mm foam pad under the hip area – for 40mm total support where it's needed most. This improves stability during movement.

• Full-length additional 20mm foam layer – boosts insulation and comfort from head to toe.

• Quilted mattress cover – includes a layer of soft quilting foam for a touch of luxury.

What About Cold Weather?

In warm temperatures, the Hybrid Mattress stays cooler than traditional foam. In moderate conditions, the integrated foam and your sleeping bag will provide ample insulation.

For cold-weather camping, foam alone may not be sufficient. That’s why we’ve included a serviceable zippered cover, allowing you to insert a lightweight $7 survival blanket (not included) between the foam and air layers. This simple addition significantly improves heat retention.

Is It Durable?

Absolutely. Because the air component requires minimal inflation pressure, damage is unlikely when used correctly. Simply ensure the ground is clear of sharp objects before setup.

If damage does occur:

• The air layer is easily repairable with a standard puncture kit.

• We also stock replacement air inserts for servicing your bedroll.
